• 4 Weeks, ongoing

• Audition & invitation-only, conservatory-style training 

• For performers with significant training or experience

• Focus in spontaneity, stakes, and emotional investment

• Intensive Monologue Coaching

• Advanced work in Action-Based Imaging Technique

• 3 hours per class / Limit 5 actors

Jesse Charles Friedman | Director of Education & Associate Producer

Jesse is an actor in New York and the Director of Education at SoHo Shakes. After teaching and directing as a Fulbright scholar in Uruguay, he earned his MFA at Harvard University’s Institute for Advanced Theater Training, studying classical performance under David Hammond. Jesse has performed Shakespeare under the direction of Obie-winner Melia Bensussen and spent two years as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard in Voice and Speech. (He|Him) AEA
